Good to know
Booking a taxi in Forbach: practical information
Your arrival: Forbach railway station
Forbach station is located on Place Robert-Schuman. To continue to your accommodation, specify the train in question and the town of arrival rather than a general destination within the Forbach area. Include your arrival time, any luggage and a contact number. The meeting point must be confirmed before leaving the station.
The Schlossberg Park and Castle
Schlossberg Castle is situated in the park on the hills above Forbach. The site features paths, slopes and steps. Request a meeting point at a designated road access point; do not assume that a vehicle can reach the tower or follow the visitor route.
A departure following a visit
A visit to the Schlossberg does not necessarily end at the place where you were dropped off. Choose an accessible meeting point and provide your preferred time. If your plans change, please provide the new address before heading to a different meeting point.
Barrabino Castle as a landmark
The tourist office is located at Château Barrabino, Avenue Saint-Rémy. This building is not the same as the Schlossberg. To get to a cultural event or accommodation in the centre, enter the full name of the venue and its entrance, then check the confirmation.

FAQ · Forbach
Your questions about taxis in Forbach
Answers to the questions most often asked about booking in Forbach.
Which departure point should I select for Forbach station?
Select Robert-Schuman station and add the train details. The final meeting point is the one stated in the confirmation.
Can I be dropped off at the top of the Schlossberg?
Do not assume this: the route includes paths and steps. Specify a suitable road access point and check the visiting conditions separately.
Are Barrabino and Schlossberg the same castle?
No. Château Barrabino houses the tourist information office on Avenue Saint-Rémy; the Schlossberg is the site of the park on the hillside.
How do I organise the return journey after a visit to the park?
Provide a location accessible to a vehicle, your time and the passengers. Have this return journey confirmed, regardless of the visit.
