The right side
Check your exit before walking to the vehicle.

For a taxi at Gare Saint-Lazare, first identify which side of the station your pickup uses. Cour de Rome, Cour du Havre and Rue d’Amsterdam are different landmarks. Provide your train and destination, then follow the confirmed meeting instructions.
Our Taxis Minute service is billed €1 for the first 24h, then €49/month.

Good to know
SNCF gives the station address as 13 Rue d’Amsterdam. That identifies the station when making a request, but does not by itself describe your pickup point. Add your train number and read the instructions before choosing an exit.
If leaving a hotel in the area, enter its address instead. A search for a Saint-Lazare taxi can mean the station, a nearby street or a hotel. Select the place where you will actually be waiting, with an identifiable entrance.
SNCF lists the Cour de Rome and Cour du Havre entrances, plus an Amsterdam exit on the platform 27 side. Keep these names in mind when leaving your train: they let you explain where you are more precisely than “outside Saint-Lazare”.
Do not choose a side just because it is the first exit you see. For a booking, the confirmed meeting point takes precedence over a general landmark. If you have already left through a different exit, explain your location before moving. Without a booking, follow station taxi signs; these entrances are not a list of taxi ranks.
These are two separate Paris stations. Enter “Gare de Lyon, Paris” and the time of your onward train. Allow for leaving the first train, walking, the road journey and the next operator’s boarding requirements.
Metro line 14 serves both Saint-Lazare and Gare de Lyon. Consider it when the access and service suit your luggage and timing. A taxi provides the option of a direct car journey, which may be convenient with several suitcases. Check conditions on the day whichever option you choose.
Line 14 also serves Aéroport d’Orly. Compare the metro and taxi using your actual circumstances: passenger numbers, bags, station access and flight terminal. Check the correct ticket and the service for your date if travelling by metro.
For a car to Orly or CDG, give your departure terminal and required airport arrival time. For Montparnasse or Gare du Nord, use the exact station name. Journey times depend on the route and traffic, so build in a margin rather than relying on one fixed driving time.
A district name is not a drop-off address. Copy your hotel’s full name, street address and reception entrance if needed. If you want to leave your luggage before sightseeing, make the accommodation your destination. See our Paris taxi guide for other city journeys.
For Disneyland, choose between the parks, Chessy station and your hotel. Read the Disneyland Paris taxi guide before specifying the destination. An apartment in Val d’Europe and a Disney hotel reception are different drop-off points.
Arrange pickup after allowing time to leave the platform and reach the meeting point. If your train is delayed, send the revised time through the contact or management link provided, including your request reference. Check how the meeting and any waiting will be handled.
Keep your phone available and describe a specific landmark if you cannot find the spot. “Cour du Havre” or “Amsterdam exit” is clearer than “at the exit”. A train number does not by itself confirm automatic tracking or unlimited waiting.
List every passenger, large suitcase, cabin bag and bulky item. Say whether your pushchair folds. Gather the family or group before leaving the station, so nobody heads to a different side.
Explicitly request any child seat, booster or vehicle suitable for a mobility need. Provide useful details, including the child’s age and equipment dimensions, then wait for confirmation. Station assistance and the car pickup need separate coordination.
Compare the same addresses, time and requirements for a trip to Gare de Lyon, Orly or a hotel. Ask about the applicable fare, reservation and waiting conditions after a delayed train. A price for a different route is not a fare for yours.
Regulated airport fixed fares apply to defined journeys and conditions; they are not a universal fare from Saint-Lazare. Check official rules and the terms provided for your trip, distinguishing an estimate from a confirmed amount.
Saint-Lazare is served by metro lines 3, 12, 13 and 14. Compare the entire journey: the walk to the transport, any changes and the final leg to your address. An option that suits one person with a small bag may be less suitable for a family with luggage.
| Option | Useful for | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| Booked taxi | Planning a journey to an exact address with luggage. | Confirmation, meeting point, capacity and conditions. |
| Taxi without a booking | Finding a car after arrival. | Signs, queue and availability at the time. |
| Metro line 14 | Comparing a journey to Gare de Lyon or Aéroport d’Orly. | Service, ticket, access and final walk. |
| Other lines or walking | Reaching a Paris address according to its location. | Full route, changes and comfort with bags. |
Prepare a separate return request with the actual departure address and the train you need to catch. Specify the entrance where you will wait. Work backwards from the rail operator’s required arrival time, allowing for the road and the walk inside the station.
Check the return confirmation even if your outward journey is complete. If your hotel or plans change, send the update using the available management options. Do not automatically reuse the meeting point from your arrival at the station.

FAQ · Gare Saint-Lazare
Practical answers about exits, connections and luggage.
Use the one stated in your confirmation. Cour de Rome, Cour du Havre and the Amsterdam exit are distinct landmarks. If you have already left elsewhere, explain your location and clarify the meeting before changing sides.
It is the station address given by SNCF. It identifies Saint-Lazare but does not replace instructions for a booked pickup. Check the specific point where you should meet the vehicle.
Follow taxi signs at the station. Cour de Rome, Cour du Havre and Amsterdam are station access landmarks, not three taxi ranks verified by this page.
Request a direct taxi journey or compare line 14, which serves both stations. Include walking and your next train’s boarding requirements. Specify Paris Gare de Lyon, not the city of Lyon.
Line 14 serves Saint-Lazare and Aéroport d’Orly. Check the service, required ticket and route to your terminal. Compare it with a taxi according to your bags and time before the flight.
Check fare conditions for your time and route, including reservation and possible waiting. An estimate for another connection does not confirm this fare. Compare the same journey and requirements.
Send the revised arrival using the contact or management options provided. Confirm the new meeting time and waiting conditions. A train number is not automatic agreement to reschedule.
Give the total passenger count, including children, and all bags and equipment. Confirm capacity and any child seat or special requirement before relying on that arrangement.
Enter the hotel’s full name and municipality rather than just Disneyland. Add passengers and luggage, then check the drop-off instructions. Prepare the return to Saint-Lazare separately.
Prepare a separate request with your departure address and train details. Check confirmation and allow for the road and platform access. An outward request does not automatically supply those new details.
