CDG taxi at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport

For a CDG taxi, provide your actual flight terminal, flight number and final address. Roissy, CDG and Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle mean the same airport, but not a single meeting point. Terminal taxi queues and reserved pickups require different arrangements.

CDG taxi: terminal, flight and address first

“Paris airport” is too vague: choose Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG), then your flight terminal. Copy the flight number and date, especially for an arrival after midnight. Terminals can change, so check your flight nearer departure instead of using information from a previous trip.

For arrival pickup, allow for disembarkation, any checks and baggage delivery. For a departure, work from your airline’s required airport arrival time. Neither pickup time is simply the scheduled landing or take-off time.

Where are the terminal taxi queues?

The Paris je t’aime and Grand Roissy tourist offices publish the landmarks below for taxis without reservations. They cover terminals 1, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G and 3. Follow the terminal’s taxi signs on arrival; a numbered door does not automatically describe a booked meeting point.

For 2B, use the arrivals level and signs rather than a door number that is inconsistent between sources. For a reserved pickup, read your own instructions: this table is not a list of TaxisMinute meeting points.

Terminals 1 and 3: separate arrivals

Terminals 1 and 3 are different buildings. Do not replace the terminal name with “Roissypôle” if you are actually waiting outside your terminal. State the terminal and follow the location supplied with confirmation.

For rail transport, Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 station is at Roissypôle; its name does not mean it is inside terminal 1’s arrivals hall. Terminal 3 also involves a walk to this station. For a car journey, do not head to an RER station unprompted if your meeting is arranged at the terminal.

2A, 2B, 2C and 2D: keep the terminal letter

These letters identify different parts of terminal 2. “CDG 2” alone does not specify the right arrival or a clear meeting point. Provide the complete letter and send updates with your flight number if it changes.

Do not assume 2A is closed based on older guides: Air Austral announced its reopening on 2 December 2025 and its return there. This does not fix every flight’s terminal; the airline also mentioned arrivals at 2A or 2C depending on operations. Your flight information remains decisive.

2E halls K, L and M: boarding halls, not three taxi ranks

Terminal 2E includes halls K, L and M. These are part of the flight and boarding-gate route, not three separate road terminals for independent drop-offs. For a taxi, start with “terminal 2E”, then use the confirmed landside meeting instructions.

For departure, keep the hall shown on your ticket to plan your route after drop-off. On arrival, complete the journey to arrivals and baggage collection before walking to the agreed spot. Do not turn a boarding gate into a pickup address.

2F, 2G, CDGVAL and rail stations

2G is distinct from 2F. The N2 shuttle links 2F and 2G for internal public transport connections. Do not treat 2G as simply another hall reached from the same pavement as 2F. A taxi request for 2G should explicitly state that letter.

CDGVAL connects terminal 1, Roissypôle and the terminal 2 area. Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV station is another landmark, useful for rail arrivals and connections. If arriving by TGV, enter the station and train rather than an arbitrary flight terminal. Check internal routes before moving your luggage to another building.

CDG–Paris taxi: regulated reference fares for 2026

For 2026, Service-Public lists €56 between CDG and the Paris Right Bank and €65 between CDG and the Paris Left Bank, in either direction, for the applicable direct journeys in Paris taxis. Your Paris address determines the bank, so give it in full. These are taxi fare references, not a TaxisMinute total booking price offer.

The same source lists Paris taxi booking supplements of €4 for immediate bookings and €7 for advance bookings, plus €5.50 per passenger from the fifth passenger onwards. Check which elements apply to your journey and distinguish these rules from the booking service’s terms. Clarify waiting or a special itinerary instead of treating an unexplained figure as an all-inclusive amount.

Paris stations and hotels after your flight

For Gare du Nord or Paris Gare de Lyon, include your next train and required arrival margin. The transfer includes leaving the airport, the road and the walk inside the station. A landing close to train departure does not make a connection realistic.

For a hotel, provide its full name and address. Our Paris taxi guide can help with the rest of your stay. For a hotel near CDG, the municipality and reception entrance distinguish the property from a terminal or railway station.

Disneyland, Orly and Beauvais: separate transfers

CDG–Paris fixed fares are not prices for Disneyland, hotels outside Paris or another airport. For Disneyland Paris, specify the parks or exact hotel; a Chessy address and accommodation in another municipality are not interchangeable. Ask for the conditions of your own route.

For CDG–Orly or CDG–Beauvais, identify both airports, relevant terminals and the onward flight. Include departure formalities and traffic in your plan. Changing airports is not an internal connection between CDG terminals.

Delayed flights, families and luggage

List all travellers, including children, large suitcases, cabin bags, pushchairs and bulky equipment. Request the child seat or booster you need with the child’s age. For mobility needs, describe the assistance and vehicle required and wait for capacity and equipment confirmation.

If the flight is delayed, changes terminal or bags arrive late, send an update through the contact or management options provided. Confirm the time, place and waiting conditions. A flight number provides a reference; it does not guarantee automatic tracking or free, unlimited waiting.

Taxi, RER B or rail connection: compare the whole route

Choose according to your final destination and luggage. For Paris, examine RER B from the appropriate airport station. For onward rail travel, check CDG’s TGV station and available departures. Do not assume a hotel shuttle exists; consult the property’s arrangements.

Compare every step from arrivals to your destination’s door. Walking to the station, changing terminals and the final hotel transfer all count. A taxi lets you request a direct trip to an address, subject to confirmation and road conditions.

Travelling in 2027: new terminal names from 16 March

Air France announces new names from 16 March 2027: terminal 1 stays 1; 3 becomes 2; 2A and 2C become 3; 2B and 2D become 4; 2E becomes 5; 2F becomes 6; and 2G becomes 7. Gates K, L and M become D, C and B respectively. The renaming itself does not move the locations.

For travel in 2026, use the current names. If an advance ticket already shows a new name, check your travel date and airline information before selecting the terminal. Keep the flight number to resolve ambiguity; do not apply 2027 numbering to a 2026 arrival.

Returning to CDG: work from the required arrival time

Give your departure address, terminal and flight. Choose pickup by adding the airline’s required airport margin to the road journey. If you change hotels during your stay, use the actual address for departure day.

Request and confirm the return separately from the arrival. Keep the drop-off instructions and recheck the terminal before leaving. A terminal letter or hall copied from an old ticket can cause an unnecessary detour.

Five details for your CDG taxi request

  1. Date, flight number and terminal checked for this journey.
  2. Realistic timing after bags or before departure formalities.
  3. Full final address, exact station or identified hotel.
  4. All passengers, cases and equipment requiring confirmation.
  5. Reachable phone, confirmation and landside meeting point.

FAQ · Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport

Questions about CDG taxis

Answers about terminals, fares and meeting points for your flight.

Are CDG and Roissy the same airport?

Yes, Roissy, CDG and Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle refer to the same airport here. Still provide the exact terminal, flight and date: the airport name alone cannot establish a meeting point.

Where are taxis at terminals 2E and 2F?

The tourist offices list door 10 at 2E arrivals and door 11 at 2F arrivals for taxi queues. For a booking, follow the confirmed location, which may differ from the queue.

Which landmark should I use at 2B?

Use the arrivals level and taxi signs on site. The consulted sources do not all give the same door detail. For a booking, the confirmed meeting point is the reference.

Is terminal 2A still closed?

No. Air Austral announced reopening effective 2 December 2025. Check your flight assignment nevertheless: reopening does not mean every flight of an airline always arrives at the same terminal.

Are halls K, L and M taxi pickup points?

They are boarding-related halls within terminal 2E, not three road terminals. State 2E for the car journey and follow landside meeting instructions. Keep your hall information for the airport route.

How do 2F and 2G differ?

They are separate areas. Internal transport includes the N2 shuttle from 2F to 2G. For a 2G pickup or drop-off, state 2G explicitly and check the meeting point.

What is the regulated CDG–Paris taxi fare in 2026?

Service-Public lists €56 for the Right Bank and €65 for the Left Bank, in both directions, for applicable direct Paris taxi journeys. Check relevant supplements. These references are not a TaxisMinute total booking price.

Does the Paris fixed fare cover Disneyland, Orly or Beauvais?

No. It concerns defined CDG–Paris journeys. Disneyland, suburbs and other airport transfers are separate routes. Ask for the conditions applying to your addresses and timing.

What if my flight or terminal changes?

Send the new details through the supplied contact or management options and check the revised meeting. Mention delayed luggage too. Do not assume automatic flight tracking or waiting.

My ticket shows a new terminal number: which should I use?

The announced new names take effect on 16 March 2027. For 2026, use current names. Check your date, airline and flight number if an advance ticket already uses the new terminology.

How do I request a journey with children and large bags?

Count every passenger and describe bags, pushchair and equipment. Explicitly request a child seat or suitable vehicle with practical details. Wait for capacity and equipment confirmation.

Do I need a separate return request to CDG?

Yes. Prepare the return with your address, flight, terminal and timing allowing the airline’s required margin. Check confirmation. Arrival travel does not automatically determine the departure details.
