Taxi at Paris-Orly Airport

For an Orly taxi, give your flight’s Orly 1, 2, 3 or 4 area, flight number and final address. Taxi queues have arrivals landmarks, while a booking follows its own meeting instructions. Prepare luggage and the margin before your next train or flight.

Orly taxi: planning arrival or departure

Select “Paris-Orly Airport (ORY)” and check the area given for your flight. “Paris airport” does not distinguish Orly from CDG or Beauvais. Add your flight number and date, especially for arrival after midnight.

Allow for disembarkation, any checks and baggage collection before arranging pickup from the airport. In the Paris–Orly direction, work from the airline’s required arrival time. Landing or take-off time alone is not enough to set a meeting.

Orly 1-2, 3 and 4: taxi queue landmarks

The regional tourist board locates queues outside baggage reclaim: door 14a for Orly 1-2, door 32a for Orly 3 and door 48a for Orly 4. Keep the letter “a” with the number when using these landmarks. Follow the airport’s taxi signs on the day too.

These doors identify unreserved taxi queues. They do not replace the location supplied for a booked car. If you have confirmation, read it before joining a queue or walking to another area.

A reserved pickup: stay with the agreed area

Check the terminal and precise point in your confirmation. If your flight arrives in a different area, send the update before heading to the old meeting point. A flight number and the area where you are provide a clearer message than “I am at Orly”.

Gather your belongings and group before saying you are ready. If you need airport assistance, coordinate it with road transport and explain where you can meet the car. Special equipment or assistance should not be treated as confirmed by default.

Orly–Paris taxi fares: regulated references for 2026

For 2026, Service-Public lists €45 between Orly and the Paris Right Bank and €36 between Orly and the Left Bank, in both directions, for applicable direct Paris taxi journeys. Your address determines the bank: provide the street number and full destination instead of “central Paris”.

The same source lists booking supplements of €4 for immediate requests and €7 for advance bookings, plus €5.50 per passenger from the fifth onwards. Check what applies to your journey, waiting and booking conditions. These are regulated taxi fare references, not a TaxisMinute total price offer, and do not extend to Disneyland, suburbs or another airport.

Metro 14 or taxi: compare for your address

Line 14 serves Aéroport d’Orly, Gare de Lyon and Saint-Lazare. Consider it for these stations and Paris destinations conveniently connected to the line. Check schedules, service, the appropriate ticket and the route from your flight area to the station.

A taxi can suit a direct trip to a precise address, particularly with several bags or a destination away from the metro. Compare the whole journey, including walking, changes and the hotel arrival. Our Paris taxi guide helps with the rest of your stay.

Connecting to Gare de Lyon or Saint-Lazare

For Paris Gare de Lyon, give the next train and required arrival margin. Do the same for Saint-Lazare. Allow for leaving the aircraft, bags, transport and walking to the train. A direct car cannot guarantee a tight connection.

Compare line 14, which also serves both stations. When choosing a car, give the exact station: Paris Gare de Lyon is not Lyon city. If your flight is delayed, reassess the plan using updated information instead of keeping the original margin.

Orly–CDG, Disneyland and hotels

A transfer to Roissy-CDG means changing airports. Specify the onward terminal and required arrival time, including the road and formalities. The Orly–Paris fixed fare is not an airport-to-airport price.

For Disneyland Paris, choose the park or exact hotel. If dropping bags first, the property is more useful than the parks as a destination. For any hotel near Orly or elsewhere, copy its full name, municipality and reception address. Check any shuttle with the hotel.

Families, large bags and a delayed flight

Count every traveller, including children, then list suitcases, cabin bags and pushchair, including whether it folds. Request a child seat or booster with the child’s age and wait for confirmation. Describe mobility equipment and useful dimensions so suitable arrangements can be confirmed.

For flight or baggage delays, send the update using the contact or management options supplied. Check waiting conditions and the revised meeting. Providing a flight does not mean automatic tracking, free waiting or an unconfirmed reschedule.

Choosing transport for your Orly arrival

Your final address, passenger count, bags and timing shape the choice. Someone travelling to a line 14 station and a family going to accommodation outside Paris have different journeys. Compare conditions for your actual trip.

For a booked car, check confirmation before relying on pickup. For a queue, follow signs and availability on site. For the metro or a hotel shuttle, check operation that day and the final journey to your door.

Returning Paris–Orly before departure formalities

Arrange a separate return from the address where you will actually be. Give your departure area and flight, then choose pickup from the airline’s required airport arrival time. Add a margin for traffic and the route after drop-off.

Read the return confirmation and recheck your flight area before leaving the hotel. Update any changed plans or address through the available options. Arrival booking details do not automatically provide your new starting point or return flight time.

FAQ · Paris-Orly Airport

Questions about Orly taxis

Answers about terminals, fares and metro line 14.

Which taxi door serves Orly 1 or 2?

Visit Paris Region lists door 14a for the Orly 1-2 queue, outside baggage reclaim. Follow local signs. For a booking, use your supplied meeting point rather than automatically joining that queue.

Where are taxis at Orly 3 and Orly 4?

Visit Paris Region lists door 32a for Orly 3 and 48a for Orly 4 after baggage reclaim. These are unreserved queues. Check separate instructions for a booked pickup.

What is the regulated Orly–Paris fare in 2026?

Service-Public lists €45 for the Right Bank and €36 for the Left Bank, both ways, for applicable direct Paris taxi journeys. Check relevant supplements. These are not TaxisMinute total booking prices.

Which booking supplements apply to Paris taxis?

Service-Public lists €4 for immediate bookings and €7 in advance, plus €5.50 per passenger from the fifth onwards. Confirm the elements applying to your trip and distinguish them from booking service terms.

Can I take metro line 14 from Orly to Paris?

Yes, it serves Aéroport d’Orly, Gare de Lyon and Saint-Lazare. Check service, the correct ticket and the route to your final address. Compare with a taxi according to your luggage and access.

How do I plan a Gare de Lyon connection?

Enter “Gare de Lyon, Paris” and the onward train. Include disembarkation, bags, transport and station walking. Line 14 is also an alternative to check; no single journey time guarantees a connection.

Does the Orly–Paris fixed fare cover CDG?

No. Orly–CDG connects two airports rather than Orly and Paris proper. Give the terminals and onward flight, then check the conditions of this separate transfer.

What if the flight area changes or the flight is late?

Send the new area and time through the contact or options provided. Confirm the meeting and waiting conditions. Do not automatically head to the old pickup point.

Can I request a child seat and bring several cases?

Yes, state your needs with the child’s age, luggage and whether the pushchair folds. Wait for seat and vehicle capacity confirmation. Count every passenger in the request.

Do I need to arrange the return to Orly separately?

Yes. Give your actual address, departure area, flight and timing allowing the airline’s margin. Check return confirmation; arrival details are not enough for the new trip.
